Do you handle international projects?

Yes. We direct our engineering consulting, modeling, and manufacturing process simulation services to clients worldwide. We are an authorized DEFORM software distributor for Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Do you work with universities?

Yes. We offer universities specially dedicated educational DEFORM licenses, simulation support for research tasks in grants such as NCN, NCBiR, Horizon Europe, and others, training, building simulation competencies, and guest lectures for students.

What does the collaboration process look like step by step?

What is DEFORM?

DEFORM is the world’s leading software for simulation of metal forming, heat treatment, and machining processes, developed by SFTC in the USA. BPI-SimServ is the official distributor in Poland, also authorized for Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. We offer commercial and academic licenses, training, implementation, and support.

What is numerical simulation and a virtual process twin, and why are they worth using?

Numerical simulation is a mathematical representation of a real technological process, such as forging, heat treatment, or welding, that allows predicting its course and outcomes without the need for costly physical trials. It enables analysis of temperature distributions, stresses, strains, and microstructure changes, and rapid comparison of different process variants. A virtual process twin, also known as a Digital Twin, is an extension of this concept. It is a dynamic, digital model of a real process that can be updated with production data and used for continuous optimization and real-time decision-making. In practice, this means lower costs, shorter implementation times and higher ROI, better product quality, and greater competitive advantage, because instead of working by trial and error, a company can consciously design and control its processes.

What industries do you serve?

We address our offer to a broad range of industries and companies involved primarily in the processing of metal alloys, although we have examples of DEFORM3D simulation applications for a glass manufacturing plant. Our clients are primarily companies in the automotive, aerospace, machinery, steel, energy, and precision metalworking industries. We also collaborate with technical universities and research institutes.

What exactly does BPI-SimServ do?

BPI-SimServ is a technology company specializing in numerical simulations of metal manufacturing processes. We help manufacturing companies predict and eliminate technological problems before they occur on the production line. We simulate, among others, cold and hot metal forming (forging) processes, heat treatment (quenching, carburizing, tempering, nitriding), machining (physical phenomena during cutting, temperatures, chip shape and breakage), workpiece distortion to develop optimal machining sequences, sheet metal forming, profile extrusion, and many other operations. We are also the only authorized distributor of DEFORM manufacturing process simulation software in Poland. Our team comes from the aerospace and energy industries.
